CD Balancing

How are you, All? For those who have a CD, or are familiar with a PC (the Sinclairists have at least their hands in place, so help the “keyboarders” - everything is not right with them) Whose Chinese wheels don't growl? And to balance - 10-20 minutes! I only have there was one problem - with the alignment disk (there is no need to sharpen it at home, but go to bow - broken) I recently discovered that the bosses from the tape for cash registers ideally (with slight interference: which is actually required) fit into center hole of the discs. So the balancing goes like this: 1. Take 2 files (or even ones, without chips or burrs along the edge of the plate), put them them “on edge” with the teeth down, we place an insert between them (I came across old “crown”) and clamp it strictly horizontally in a vice. The result is “rails”. Place the boss on the “rails” and make sure it rolls (with a slight (!) push) evenly and without “bouncing” (checking the balance of the boss itself and evenness "rail"). 2.Insert the boss into the horseradish disk and lightly roll it along the resulting "rails" - it will stop with the heavy part down. 3.Putting the disk on the edge of the table (through the flannel) with a file (I used small sharpener) remove along the edge of the disk from the side of the heavier edge. Shoot a little at a time! (Otherwise there will be only one boss left from the disk :))))))))))) And not touching metal plating!Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the disk is in an indifferent position (as on “rails” If you put it on, it just sits there and doesn’t roll). After the ground edge is processed zero (fine sandpaper). P.S. I recently explained this to someone - I came across the same oak tree.
