Here it is attached in the archive, I specially wrote a program that would display
volume levels - from 0 to 15 - running through the values sequentially - and forming
on the DAC the corresponding levels. (control register number 7 disabled = #FF;
I tried changing other registers, the picture was consistently the same - from
times at times)
Recorded on SB Live! 5.1 - maybe this unit itself gives interference, but
fact - after the value "15" the transition to the value "0" is accompanied by terrible
fluctuations - and even before the start of the transition (jitter inside the sound?).
Small values are also accompanied by fluctuations (can be seen again from
graphics) - and the fluctuations in values themselves occur in the middle already
set value.
In general, I cannot explain this rationally (there is only one sensory

corresponds to a frequency of about 8 kHz (the given signal is quantized at
frequency 48 kHz, the oscillation takes about 6 measurements). Maybe it's a matter of

It's a matter of wire inductance. Look with an oscilloscope with normal
with a probe - this should not happen.
