I looked on the ALTERA website to see who the official distributor is in Ukraine.
It turned out to be a lousy Kyiv office. I sent a request there by email - is it possible to
them to order this board, they replied that it is possible but the order will be completed 1...3
month and cost $170 + taxes. So it looks like any official
distributor ALTERA can safely order this miracle in addition to OBLIGATION (since
tinkering with one board is clearly a bummer for this company! but distrubutor requirements
They're probably obligated to do this.)

Now I’m adapting the CPC source for TREX-C1 to DE1.
In the future, based on this code, I will emulate Spectrum.
The quorum will be 8 megabytes :)

By chance, does anyone know if there is an SD&MMC -> CF(IDE) adapter?
IMHO for the SD/MMC support it is enough to stop at this option (while maintaining
compatibility with the Nemov controller) rather than reinventing the wheel with others
SD/MMC support options.

What if you want to avoid cockroaches completely? Is it possible to use CPLD, which
provides the required amount of I/O, operates from 3.3V and is tolerant to 5V? If
use such a chip, it can completely buffer the I/O to the Cyclone-II.
I have a cheap old Xilinx CPLD Starter Kit somewhere, it seems to show
XC9500 and Cold Runner II. XC9500 works with 3.3V and understands 5V...

CYCLONE II has inputs/outputs that are not 5V tolerant, if the output is 3.3V per unit and can
power the usual logic, then the input designed for 3.3V (with a protective diode) is not,
because at one TTL (>4.5V) 4.5-3.3=1.1>Upr=0.7 (the protective diode will open) and
will cause the TTL output to short to the 3.3V source, the same problems apply to APEX
20KE and Stratix. (In our developments we used MAX3000A for pairing)

In the Datasheet Cyclone, it is written in this regard that input tolerance is up to 5
Voltage TTL logic is achieved by using an external resistor and
internal protective diode. Output operation is provided with a 5-volt
LVTTL, but not LVCMOS.
This is exactly how the connection of 5-volt cartridges is organized, for example in the diagram
1ChipMSX.
100 Ohm resistors are connected in series with each line.
In the DE1 circuit, all lines going from CYCLONE to external GPIO ports
also decoupled by series-connected 47 Ohm resistors.

For now this is only a demo version.
The keyboard is not supported (PS/2 is only one and is given to the mouse).
The original system on the Trex C1 was made with a CF flash drive, but since the DE1 does not have this,
then after starting the system, an error is displayed when loading files.
Booting from SD/MMC is not yet supported.

IMHO it is oil-free, they use the guts of the ROM cartridge to which (via
rework and special firmware) SD/MMC was initially connected. All kinds of interfaces with
IDE is a completely different story :(
Attempts at purely software use on AY ports seem to have been frozen for a long time

It turns out that it is best to switch to a new standard for the SD/MMC support
cards, highly preferably with a software organization of the protocol (without any
