Hello, Ivan Monique is buggy along the way... I had the 201st (small differences) - such (influence border color to paper color) has never been observed. I even connected the PC to it (via firewood) - there were no glitches. 201 and 202 - “the dream of a spektrumist of the 90s” (c).

Hello, All Good day! In the dawn years for ZX, I was content with a b/w monitor. Questions about There is no b/w signal formation and never has been. Now I have the said monitor and problems have started... As usual, when turning on the ZX we have a white paper and a white border. Changing the curb to blue. It turns blue, but the paper turns somehow yellow. And Same with all flowers. One influences the other. No matter how you twist the color balances monitor - what happens... Maybe there is some adjustment method? Oh, yes, I forgot: this is Leningrad-1, which I got a few years ago. Even with 521HT (whatever it is) assembly on RGB-Video output. I tried disconnecting the resistors, mixing colors for b/w output - nothing has changed. I tried another clone, the one without any transistors at the output is the same. Does anyone know what the nominal color amplitudes are at the input of this monitor? should there be?

Hello John North Most likely there is interference in the RGB cord. Perhaps the RGB cord is too long, or you need to Use a shielded cord (as for connecting a VCR).

From Wladimir Bulchukey To All 22 December 2006

Hello deathsoft Almost unambiguously: the constant component of the video signal components is lost, then there is a signal supplied through capacitors. The signal must go through resistors without capacitors. Examine the computer circuit.

From Dmitry Vasilievich Terentyev To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Ivan I also have a similar problem, plus the convergence of the beams suffers greatly (red beam highlights the point offset from the others). I couldn't overcome it.

From Ivan Shishkin To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Mikka_A Mikka_A that the size jumps - I also remember that. I'm actually leaning towards a remake. this monitor. Syntal, but this is the first time in my life I’ve heard about the 128k test, I tried it on an emulator - there really is such a thing. We need to expand to 128k and check.

From Ivan Shishkin To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Wlodek deathsoft, indeed, a cord of about 1.2 meters, unshielded from a flat cable. I'll try to make it normal. Wlodek, judging by the monitor circuit, the constant component is already lost in the monitor. At its inlet there are separation electrolytes. On the native scheme Leningrad-1, as you know, has no electrolytes.

Hello Syntal Syn> ....... the K50 series does not inspire confidence in me at all, besides Syn> so many years have passed since its manufacture. http://www.micronika.ru/docs/hitano/caps_hitano_al[1].pdf choose to taste. :v2_wink2; I; I usually put on the ELP series.

Hello, Ivan > Good day! > > In the dawn years for the ZX, I was content with a b/w monitor. Questions about > there is no and never has been a signal formation....... we need to look at what reaches the cascades of guns. It is advisable to make a divider on the probe and see what goes directly to the guns. Monique is ancient.. Maybe the containers have dried out, maybe someone is planting something... In general, we can cure the bug, we just need to tinker. For this purpose, remember, I wrote a table in Vasik.... and rebuilt it quite well both in color and mixing. True, the pipe was already sagging - when clicking, the white paper had a black border black paper white border - image size jumped...

From Yuri Polyakov To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Mikka_A The Spectrum-128 gives a quite good screen test, if after Reset you hold Break - at least the geometry and colors can be lined up.

From Yuri Polyakov To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Ivan > but this is the first time in my life I’ve heard about the 128k test, I tried it on an emulator - > there really is such a thing. We need to expand to 128k and check. In principle, there is no need to expand, just if possible, fill it in a new one ROM the required part of the firmware from 128K and configure the monique, although such nonsense can be write in BASIC-48 in 5 minutes or even better! My VTC-201 also shows crap, no matter how hard I turn the potentiometers The boards never achieved an acceptable geometry, and I’m not even talking about mixing. I was looking for a circuit from 201, but everywhere on the Internet there are only ones from 202 lying around. Maybe someone has it? Or can anyone advise which condensers should be replaced, K50 series doesn’t inspire confidence in me at all, besides, so many years have passed since his manufacturing.

From Pavel Fedin To All 22 December 2006

Hello, Mikka_A In general, if you look for testers of monitors for the ZX in bulk, there are some very good ones. It seems TELETEST or TV-TEST. At one time I had these programs on floppy disks. Polish-made programs.
