Zx-Asm 3.10
ZXNet echo conference «code.zx»
From Kirill Smelkov → To All 14 July 1999
Hello, All!
I recently saw the following text:
ZASM 3.10 full, (C) Rubtsov, Afendikov
─────────────────────────────────────
Latest arrival! Purchased from
official distributor - Maxx.
A sea of possibilities, the most suitable re-
editor for editing KrNews articles!
Moreover, this is the coolest editor for
set of bells and whistles. Since the disk is
appeared with me only today (05.15.99),
then a more complete description will be sooner
just in the next issue of KrNews.
[...]
It turns out that the full version 3.10 has finally been released?
Can anyone confirm this information?
All the best, Kirill.
From Valeriy Kovalev → To Kirill Smelkov 22 July 1999
Greetings, Kirill!
Somehow Sat 17 Jul 1999 Kirill Smelkov and Kirill Frolov
we talked about Zx-Asm 3.10.
KF>> BUT IT DOES NOT DISTRIBUTE. Written in ZX.SPECTRUM
KF>> a person familiar with one of the authors of the subject, and this is the case
KF>> it was a long time ago.
KS> Exactly, that's a long time ago. Pay attention to the date indicated in
KS> my previous message (05.15.99). The whole thing happened
KS> two
KS> months ago, maybe something good happened :)
In Minsk there is a damn fancy one...
There is an overlay system, there are even built-in games :)
As I looked, the printer there is sophisticated, therefore
request to ALL: give some thread to the doc about ZX-LPRINT.
This is the only system supported there, so I went
tinkering with the driver and saw that instead of the procedure
port initialization (if we take ZX-WORD as a basis
introduction to drivers) procedure for polling the 7th bit
port #7B, apparently a poll on BUSY or something else,
and during the transfer procedure the byte from register A is thrown out
to ports #7B, #FB. Since with ZX-LPRINT I generally
I don’t know, I ask knowledgeable people to give me the layout
ports, bits, so that I could get it to print through
BB55.
And if anyone has already done this, please send me the driver...
Thanks in advance.Valeriy Kovalev aka EQUATOR was here
