New DOS

Without further ado, I’ll move on to business. Everyone, including me, has long been sick of stupid Tr-Dos, It's time to do something normal to replace it. I've been here for a long time I'm toying with the idea of writing n normal disk operating room systems on Speccy. But I would really like to know your opinion on this issue. What should the new operating system be like? There are two options for placing a new OS: in ROM (instead of Basic 128) and in additional memory (above 128k). In this regard It would be interesting to know how many people have this same additional memory. And how many will agree to flash the ROM? for the sake of a new operating system, or an existing Tr-Dos and so on enough??? Happy new the operating system will solve the problems of the hard drive,But I'm very new to existing controllers and their capabilities. Maybe someone can provide me with this information? Maybe someone is already doing similar work? Then I I would really like to contact the developers of the new operating system.
