Hi Vova!
VH> Tell me what is the most reliable way
VH> detect Kempston/AY-mouse?
but there is no 100% way :( the solution was found in the following way.
1.paint the screen with one color (active screen) color with any combination
bit in which at least one bit is '1'.
2. poll the mouse button port, if at least one button is pressed -> no
3. poll the port of the mouse buttons, if it is equal to the screen fill color -> no
4. poll the mouse ports for some time if the values change
then -> no.
5. We make a hard installation in which thread menu :)
there is no other way. If you want, take a look at my xplayer, you will quickly find mouse detection there.

Hi, Vova!

I can tell from Kempston.
You need to read all three of its ports. If all three values match, it is gone.
If there is a difference, it is there.

No, I have a dock for its ports. From 21 spectrophones.
Like. Plus in the first (and last) issue of the zhrevyu for 1997
article on the topic of pro...
DL> write what my test without a mouse gives...
What's the point? I have a Scorpio.
