Hello TomCaT A little offtopic: Somewhere in the early 90s, Tekhnika Molodezhi published a project for the game “Country Monsters." It was especially noted that the name was chosen this way due to the fact that all these letters are in the Latin alphabet :) I remember that I really liked the plot then, something in the style of Dungeon & Dragons, a walk through a fantasy world with periodically appearing sleeping/wandering/atrocious/cowardly monsters, while in the article some fairly detailed recommendations were given on how to build a game algorithm and monster hunter AI. Maybe this modest information will seem interesting to “screenwriters” new games :)

Hello, All How to kill a minotaur (project plan) In general, the game can be a wander through a labyrinth in search of monster and perhaps a fight at the end. The labyrinth is set by the player and is designed new for each game. The Minotaur moves through the labyrinth with him, orienting himself by smell (by assessing the distance, the nearest branches, level of difficulty... well, a little randomness). You can add help in different places in the maze - for example, food, hints. The search cannot be carried out thoughtlessly... the minotaur can be judged by its growl (guess the direction that is being commented on especially; mood, i.e. desire to defend or, more often, to attack). Except In addition, you can enter the moral and physical state of the hero (morale falls from time, and the player needs to rest, and not run back and forth). Necessary think over the fight, but you can give it to the computer to judge, depending on the state of the beast and walker The project is pathologically lacking an artist, it would be very nice to include musician and another programmer. Skillful programmer hands are always in short supply enough, and everything is hard for me write.

I don’t see games in the description at all, just “maybe”, it’s too early for you look for “mystics” and artists, first come up with a game, write a design, create technical tasks for a programmer/artist/musician. And then find them and try to interest them. =)

Hello,GriV If I honestly wouldn’t be interested in coding something like this... Moreover, working like game designer to the brim... That's what design documentation is for, to get something like what ewgeny7 is talking about. Moreover, what you wrote is Maziacks 1983 years, greatly simplified...

Hello TomCaT Tom> Is it really necessary to approach the matter so formally? Not at all necessary :) It's Newart that frightens you :D The same Fire'n'Ice was made completely without design. And in general - disdok is an elastic concept;) Tom> There were a lot, but why was it weak? Not weak, it’s just unclear what and how. Describe the gameplay! Tom> Total: apparently, the topic needs to be closed, because... useless. Not a fact;)
