From Aleksandr Majorov → To Vladimir Larkov 12 August 1998
Hello, Vladimir!
[ ]
AM>>> For example, coloring quotes, _underlined_ words,
AM>>> LOUD SCREAMING, etc. etc. worth doing.
AM>>> For example, a naked grandfather looks very beautiful....
VL> It is in the naked grandfather that it looks very _poor_. The freak has to do this
VL> color *stylecode's* (note! not colorcodes) with colors. Because
VL> he plows in the ugly
Well, I don’t know - I don’t know...
At least I liked it... (in appearance ;-)
And in general they talked about the very fact of the existence of coloring books.
VL> text mode. And this thing is intended for a normal GUI. In which
VL> style codes serve exactly their intended purpose - italic, underlined,
VL> thickened, etc... and their combinations.
First, a stupid question: are style codes ordinary word highlighting?
“quote”, “emphasized”, “loud”, etc.?
Next: I wouldn’t call text mode “ugly”:
text mode goes to 286/386, and the GUI requires what? ;-)
Well that's all

AM> text mode goes to 286/386, and the GUI will require what? ;-)
