Hello, All Does anyone have a procedure for printing in 5 pixel font... Something like 52 (51?) characters per line. Not proportional. Let me wear it :)

Hello, rasmer I was just watching Zx-time. It looks like there are just 5 pixels there. Nothing like not sloppy. It even looks good.

Hello, Vladimir Kladov I think it's worth contacting Specte on this issue.

Hello axor Here is one of my options for printing with a 5-pixel font. True it The size is not as small as we would like, but it works quickly! File: chr50.rar http://zx.pk.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=2452

Hello, EARL For those wishing to obtain the procedure for outputting 51 characters per line, I offer the source code cover of the newspaper-leaflet "Twenty". I hope everything in the source code will be clear (there are a minimum of comments). 51all.C - full font for 51-character output 20_5&.C - source code for the shell of the newspaper-leaflet "20" number 5 in GENS4 format 20_5$<.C - packed picture for the 5th issue KONKURS.C - text of the 5th issue. Note the end of text marker (character with code 12) ! 20_5&.W - source in the form of a text file. You can try to collect the number yourself ;) . Assemble the source into memory at the real address, load the font, compressed image and text and can be launched via USR ;) . If you want to do something of your own, collect everything you need in your memory and pack it something and make a monoloader. If you want to tear out only the procedure output to the screen, find it by comment and see what variables she uses. Do not occupy addresses above 60000, tables of row addresses are built there, etc. The procedure uses one set of symbols, shifting bits in real time, so don't expect much speed. But the speed is quite sufficient for the shell - newspaper viewer. The shell was written in one evening ;) . I was hoping to release one issue, released five. Well, that's how it happened. By the way, at one time Survivor picked up all the archives of the “Twenty” and achieved themplacement on "Virtual TR DOS" (I myself, given the politicized content newspapers, never insisted on posting numbers anywhere - friendship spektrumists are more expensive ;) .). Hello again and thank you! File: 51char.zip http://zx.pk.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=2457
