July 12-13, Moscow hosted the unprecedented meeting of
leaders of the Russian ZX-scene. Representatives of four groups
- Magic Soft, MegaCode, Beermans H.G. and Speed Co. -
Gathered to merged into new large organizations - Extreme.
Tusovka held in the office of the firm Amiga Division, where
"Warm and friendly atmosphere were solved organizational
issues and plans for the future.
The main activity of Extreme (abbreviated XTM)
is the work of demomaking'a, as well as promotion of
to market new programs and perhaps even the establishment of
their informational publications, where would highlight issues
related to current state of the scene.
Those present showed their latest developments. Thus,
Magic Soft proanonsirovali new project in the style slideshow
with graphics and music from Tracer'a Visual'a. There were also
shows two sketches that were drawn by Anton Markin (Tracer) for
Enlight'a. The graphics in these two images is absolutely
unprecedented for Spectrum, which gives Anton great chance to
take first place in the GFX Compo.
Several effects for its future work Enlight'ovskoy
demonstrated VAV / MegaCode. The level of its programming
significantly advanced since the writing of ACTION, but most
importantly - it is the originality of ideas themselves and
effects! Undoubtedly, VAV able to compete for first place and
to E'97.
Beermans H.G. also showed the outline of his demo
called Bizzare Constructions. This program also prepares for
Enlight'u and will be performed at a high technical level.
On behalf of Samara Extreme'istov I have demonstrated
beta-version of the editor ZxWinWord v2.0, as well as graphics
from Oberon # 4 and a pair of effects to our Enlight'ovskomu
project - Noumenon ED.
In short, the meeting was constructive, consensus was
achieved in the first hours of intercourse and lasted until the
very end. The next time the masses will be able to see the full
Extreme composition on Enlight'97.
In the near future we plan to organize a page in the
Internet, where everyone will be able to get any information on
the activity EXTREME - text, photos, fresh releases, etc.
