Editorial Nicron'a reproduces the newspaper officially
informed the organizers of the demoparty "Chaos
Constructions'98" in order to bring this information to the
readers who do not have Internet access or Fido. The text
published on the official message received from ehokonferentsii
ZX.SPECTRUM Fido.
In connection with certain formal constraints (64 characters
in line instead of 80) the text has been subjected to editing,
not affecting the meaning and content of information. Also
obvious typographical errors have been corrected and produced

"Constructions of Chaos"
version of 2 October 1998
1. General information.
Bringing the best of the best in demostroenii on major
engines stage designs of Chaos will be held in December 1998.
One can only hope that the party will become a regular
and will be held each year.
"Constructions of Chaos" organized chaos Concern and will be
sponsored by various firms and companies of St. Petersburg and
Russia as a whole.
As stated above, demopartiya CH will occur in winter
1998 in three days.
Day 1 will be free, doors open at 9 am.
This day will serve as a prelude to the real party. People
who simply could not sign up to the parties by telephone,

part in CH. During the days 2 and 3, no registration will not

Top demonstrations, music and graphics on all competing
CH on platforms will be presented to the audience. It also will

At 5 o'clock start wild demo compo. Vote on this component

Wild demo compo will take about two hours, after which
Jury sponsors to identify the most original work. At this time
organizers will consult about to amend (if necessary) in the
plans for the second and third days of the party. At 8 o'clock
sponsors will announce the winner of the first competition of
Chaos Constructions 1998 - wild demo competition.
The first day will be officially closed at 10 o'clock. The
pavilion will be cleaned and reduced to "normal" state. All

protection, cleaning and so on) will be taken depending on the
number of visitors.
In order to attend the party in the next 2 days, everyone
should will buy tickets. Without a ticket log on days 2 and 3
will not be allowed to anyone but beautiful girls.
Days two and three days would Structural Chaos contest
the best demonstrations of computer music and graphics. NOTE:
registration during these two days will not be done!
Compos all the graphics and music will be held on the second
day, voting on all the work will be conducted on the same day.
Absolutely no votes on the chart and the music will not be
accepted the next day.
Last, but not least, is the day 3. It

composting for all machines. All the votes for all the work
will be collected and counted, organizers Structural Chaos 1998

2. Compo Rules.
All work (intro, demo, graphics and music) for all platforms
can not be released before the start of the Chaos Constructions
1998, otherwise work will be disqualified.

without interference from anyone (at the same time, the demo
may have setup for audio / video hardware).

Appendix 1. Tickets
Tickets for the competition days of Structural Chaos (days
two and three) will be sold long before the party. You can
order tickets by phone / email / electronic means.
Planned to deliver an individual bar coded number on each
ticket for protection against illegal entry. Participants
(competitors) will also have to pay for tickets, would
nevertheless possible discount of 25% (depending on number of
participants in the group. Discount will be possible only if a
group of 4 or more Membury.
All participants will register well before the start of (the
names will be printed with a barcode on the tickets). All
visitors / guests will have the name of the GUEST (girls will
be named GIRL for protection against illegal entry half Smolny).
Bar code scanners will be connected to the "main" computer.
All illegal "guests" will be dealt with protection.
Appendix 2. Organization.
Drinks and food will be sold in the pavilion. Alcoholic
beverages are prohibited above 8%. Drunk people will be
expelled from the territory of the party at 1 day (their data
in the "main" computers will contain a temporary ban).
Everyone must have your ticket with you all the time.
The building will be protected by a specific organization.
Buying a ticket, the new owner agrees to all terms and
conditions printed on the back of the ticket.
All equipment will either be rented (or sponsors provided),
or it will be the personal property of the organizers party.
Since every day the party will take place over 12 hours
(9:00-22:00 pm), various seating areas will be provided
guests and participants of the party.
Appendix 3. Vote.
Voting will begin as soon as the first component, and
will occur before 7:00 pm the third day, after which the votes
will not be accepted. Contestants allowed to vote, but:! VOTE
FOR YOUR GROUP / JOB IS PROHIBITED! Violators simply reduce the
number of votes for their same job and only after that they
will be informed that they voted wrong.
System was based on a 5-point scale. From 1 as the smallest
score (BUT NOT negative, so let's not even that poor
performance) to 5 as a maximum. People can vote for an infinite
number of times for any amount of work, but the human voice for
separately taken the work will not pile up (they will be
replaced by a new assessment).

responsibility for their attitudes and actions. If I would
suffer any damage (even inadvertently), I agree to reimburse
