Good people! This is what is going on, on my drive were the
files that I downloaded in 3 days. And today (ie, 14. 05.97) at
05.40, I call on HAMER bbs and download the file from there
KILLDISK (no infrmatsii that today's server I have not found)
Well I downloaded it, went on END'u and went to take a nap, but
sleep does not wanted. I decided to see what I siphoned out
there. I type: RUN "KILLDISK", paying no attention to the name,
and download ego.Nu and myself go (as all normal people) to
wash. Well, what I see when I go back? Nothing! My computer
reset. Boot and run my eyes get out of their sockets on the
monitor painted cross. Well this is manslaughter. 2455 sectors
away to nowhere, and even this did not backup directory, malo
coefficient of nasty "programm" zaportila the entire disk and I
did not even helped FUT. I had to re-format the drive. And
after all that, I want to loudly asked: "What a freak came up
with this program? P.S. All this is described above actually
took place 14.5.1997.

Here is a cri de coeur. Then of course the opinions were
divided. Well, firstly, the question arises, why download prog
in the title of which clearly says "Disk Kill" / Kill (ruin,
destroy or ruin) CD /? If it really wants to check what it
does, we rewrite it do not want to drive and see how many you
want, well, at least, cover the write protec. But from a moral
point of view, it certainly zapadlo. I remember Nikiforov,
wrote in the rules of use bbs, quote: ".. not to upload to
drive programs that vyddut having worked on the inscription
