In Moscow a computer newspaper 'Revival' # 4.1 was
published reprints of the "Moskovsky Komsomolets" about the
future end of the world. Chief apologist siey news played the
ex-physicist, which is constantly referred to the French
prophet Nostradamus. Vchastnosti his famous 72nd quatrain 10th
Centuries, containing a specific date (which indicates the
significance of the events referred to therein, as Nostradamus
avoided giving a specific date events). In a simple translation
of this quatrain is as follows:
"In the seventh month of 1999
From the sky will be a great King of terror!
To resurrect the great King of Angouleme,
Who, after many vicissitudes and struggles
Will rule through his lucky star. "
As you can see, the end of the world are not mentioned.
Commentators agree that, under the "great king of terror"
should understand the greatest eclipse of the century, which
will occur on Aug. 11, 1999. I hear cries of: "Wipe your eyes
and August we still have until the eighth month! =- () I
explain: This date in the Gregorian calendar, translated into
Julian made during Nostradamus just corresponds to the date
referred to in the 72nd quatrains. Next on the quatrains
mentions another "great king of Angouleme. Under it, say
commentators, Nostradamus has a view of the new leader of the
world, who will be born in France and in the seventh month of
1999 ascend to the French throne. Him to predict leadership
Europe in the war against the Arabs and Chinese, resulting in
the proof of the dozens of different quatrains.
But there is another opinion about the famous quatrains.
His supporters do not agree with the above pervodom and a

As you can see, even translations are very different.
This is due to the fact that there are no original texts of
Nostradamus, moreover, some quatrains altogether lost. Others
copied many times, sometimes simultaneously translate from one
language to another.
But, on the comments to quatrains. Converge mainly on the
fact that after the investigations of Mars, we descend to the

Perhaps you also noticed a difference in the figures.
Probably the prophet used for each quatrain its starting point.
The figure of 7.000 years, once referred to them in the preface
to the second part of the "Centuries", the so-called "preface
to Henry happy." Here are his words :"... But I went on to
start the seventh millennium in my feeling about what should
happen Earth ...". There is a version that these dates from the
creation of the world. In one translation the note attributed
to Nostradamus himself in druhih I do not find it.

quatrains have already come true) is the quatrains that have an
