ZXNet - The order of communication with external networks.
ZXNet
(C) ALEX RESEARCH
According to numerous requests from subscribers ZXNet and
their correspondents recall the order of correspondence with
external networks:
1. The order of registration address from the subscriber ZXNet
to subscribers:
a) FIDO (only two lines):
To: Name Family 2: xxxx / yyy.zzz (name, surname england skim
letters, addressed to the recipient FIDO)
Subject: 095/xxx.yyy (your network address in ZXNet)
b) INTERNET (only two lines):
To: aaa@bbbbb.cc.dd (address)
Subject: 095/xxx.yyy (your network address in ZXNet)
If necessary, can be dated letter (although
gateway, it is added automatically).
Letter send to your site or directly to the gateway - ALEX
BBS.
I note further that in the near future in the address
directory for the node (file net_adrN.W) will network numbers
ZXNet other cities (and not only in Russia). How to make the
address inside ZXNet - all of our subscribers already know.
2. The order of registration address to the subscriber ZXNet
from other cross children. There are two options, but it is
best to use
first:
a) Basic:
To: ZXNET@DEOL.RU
Subject: 095/xxx.yy (network subscriber number)
b) FIDO (This option is an extreme case):
To: Alexey_Andreev 2:5020 / 531.30
Subject: 095/xxx.yyy (address of the recipient in ZXNet)
Quite naturally, the rest of the missing information
automatically placing an e-mail program.
Received for the gateway message will be sent to the site
coordinator for your network, and through it on your site. If
for some causes the node to which is attributed to the
recipient, does not operate mail is stored on ALEX BBS to a
file name consisting of the recipient's address. Naturally, the
recipient is informed of the presence of mail for him.
Mail is stored for 4 days from the notification of the
recipient.
Especially I want to remind you that sending letters to
non-existent INTERNET address and FIDO is a ZXNet annoying
behavior. Sincerely, Alexei Ivanov
