   Zilog, Inc. (NYSE: ZLG) - the world famous company, which
designs, manufactures and distributes standard products
(ASSPs) for consumer electronics, communications, data and 
peripherals computer. ASSPs - ms high degree of integration of

   Zilog supply products to the market of consumer electronics. 
Nasha products helps to reduce power consumption in TV systems, 
IR control, digital telephone answering machines, security 
systems, mobile communications, etc. 


   Zilog is a leader in the manufacture of multipurpose 
microcontrollers for both local and global networks. The 
company offers a wide range of industrial microcontrollers, 
from medium-speed serial communications controllers (SCC) to 
high-speed universal (USC). These products are widely used in 
printers and high-speed faksmodemah.



   Zilog microcontroller family adds "intelligence" computer 
peripherals and frees the CPU from mikrozadach management, 
optimizing system performance. Products Superintegration Zilog 
used in keyboards, hard disk controller, and PCMCIA Interfaces.

Campbell, California. The chips are manufactured in Nampa, 
Idaho, where as there is a second research center. Assembly and 
testing are made in Manila and Carmona, Philippines. Maintained 
contacts with manufacturers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and 
Germany, a joint venture in China. The company has 26 offices 
located throughout the world. Zilog employs approximately 1500 
employees. 

             A Brief History


   Zilog was founded in 1974 and became a subsidiary company 
Exxon in 1980 year. In 1985, the company changed course to 
focus on certain market segments. Pincus Capital Company 
repurchased Zilog at Exxon Sorp. in 1989. And in February 1991 
Zilog became a joint stock company.
