Mosaic - The publication of poll results is postponed .. In the game "The Last Battle" built a virus!

   My apologies to those who waited impatiently in today's 
issue of poll results conducted by our newspaper. K 
Unfortunately, the activity of our readers do not shine, 
voluntarily answered about 50 people, and we incorrectly 
calculated the forces: Phone around for a week the remaining 
two hundred users was impossible ... And, sadly, a publication 
of the results postponed for another week. By the way, many 
thanks to all sending us the answers! Hopefully they will help 
us next time. Preliminary results show sufficient interest to 
readers of such acts to repeat them from time to time. I think

   Do not be surprised if the programs are located on one disk
with the game "LAST BATTLE", sooner or later, would refuse to 
work. The authors of the game have realized a long-standing 
"dream" of any spektrumista - computer virus. When you start 
the game unceremoniously dug by disk, looking for BASIC files 
and changing them. According to the authors of the idea that 
any program should have been, or run "LAST BATTLE" or simply to 
display the picture with the inscription, which they (the 
authors) geniuses. Do not know exactly, because my version of 
the game that was not possible, although files were corrupted. 
Not sure if this was a good idea ... In Anyway, I do not advise 
on the disc with this game to keep still anything.

   About the "Pirates". We are never told no one, and so
no longer mentioned in the advertising market, that "Pirates" 
took a disc. This is the first. Secondly, we take the money not 
for the number of sectors, and for the program. 


   Imagine that we bought five games from the authors $ 100
each, and each of them occupies 500 sectors. All of these games
can be written on one disk, but then the price for it should be
not less than 50.000 USD. or we simply do not pay for $ 500 
spent on this disc. And not every user would pay such money for 
one disc, though even with five games. 


   Therefore much easier and more profitable for us and for
user-s drive to sell for 10.000 rubles. with one game, which 
occupies let, and 500 sectors, but not entirely clogged drive 
for 50.000 rubles. I I think you will agree with me.
