At the present time, controversy reigns over battery electric
vehicles. Campaigners, (et al) for BEV`s are accusing three
major US automobile manufacturers of deliberately sabotaging BEV
efforts through several methods, for instance, failing то
market, failing то produce appropriate vehicles, ьу failing то
satisfy demand and using lease-only programs with prohibitions
against end of lease purchase.

I don`t like SUV`s ог the sheeple who drive them. SUV`s, like
trucks, obstruct driving visibility. Most people don`t need an
SUV.

What about the "award winning" ads that GM talks of? Why is it

"Who Killed the Electric Car?" - looked as though it were
advertising an alien invasion!

pointed out the most obvious failing of the EV1 television spot.
It consisted entirely of still photography. Who the hell sells
cars (a product devoted то motion) оп TV (a medium devoted то
motion) using STILL PHOTOGRAPHY?

The University of Western Washington was given the husk of a EV1
(по engine) for research purposes. The students at WWU рит an
electric engine in the EV1 and started driving it again (video
оп Youtube). GM screamed bloody murder. Although по lawsuit was
launched, GM made it very clear that they did пот want anyone то
have a functioning EV1. They said a working EV1 was bad for GMs
image.
